Mi nombre es Rosana.
Tengo veinticuatro años y estudio hotelería en Lyon.
Acabo de hablar con mi director de estudios.
Me han dicho que es el momento de elegir una carrera definitivamente. ¿Qué hacer?
En el futuro, quiero dirigir una posada fina, tal vez en un pueblo cercano, con mi novio José.
Pero este año tengo otras decisiones importantes que tomar.
Escucho el consejo de mis maestros y leo regularmente los clasificados de la facultad en mi escuela.
Tengo varias opciones: puedo permanecer en Lyon hacer una pasantía en uno de los restaurantes famosos de la ciudad, o puedo tratar de encontrar un trabajo en el extranjero – Montreal, Nueva York, San Francisco, o incluso en Nueva Orleans.
Pero también pienso en mi familia. Mis padres me dicen que haga lo que yo desee, que me apoyan en todas mis decisiones.
Pero si voy a América del Norte, los extrañaré terriblemente, y a mi hermano y a mi hermana pequeña.
Por otro lado, hay Internet, podemos escribirnos correos electrónicos, ellos pueden visitar América y siempre está el teléfono. Y, por supuesto, el tiempo vuela!

My decisions
My name is Rosana.
I am twenty-four years old, and I am studying hotel business in Lyon.
I just talked to my supervisor.
I am told that this is the time to definitely choose a career. What is there to do?
In the future, I want to run a high-end hostel, perhaps in a neighbor village, with my boyfriend José.
But this year I have other important decisions to make.
I listen to the advice of my teachers and I regularly read the announcements of the faculty of my school.
I have several options: I can stay at Lyon do an internship in one of the famous restaurants of the city, or I can try to find a job abroad – in Montreal, in New York, in San Francisco, or even in New Orleans.
But I also have to think about my family. My parents tell me to do what I want, that they support me in all my decisions.
But if I leave in North America, I will miss them terribly, as well as my brother and my little sister.
On the other hand, there is Internet, we can write emails, they can visit America and there is always the phone. And of course, time flies!
