The Kjarkas is a Bolivian musical group founded in Capinota (Bolivia) in 1965 by the brothers Hermosa: Wilson, Castel and Gonzalo (2/10/1950), plus Édgar Villarroel. The name of the set has its origin in the word kharka, of southern Quechua, which means “fear or suspicion.”
