Los Kjarkas is a Bolivian musical group founded in Capinota in 1965 by the Hermosa brothers: Wilson, Castel and Gonzalo (2/10/1950), plus Édgar Villarroel. The name of the group has its origin in the word kharka, from southern Quechua, which means “fear or suspicion”, or also “tremor”.
